| Course Details |
All students enrolling at Rewi Alley Academy undergo the Oxford Placement Test to determine the appropriate starting level. General English Morning classes are run at Elementary, Pre-intermediate and Intermediate Level for 15 hours each week. Afternoon classes are held for 5 hours each week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The focus of the afternoon classes is on speaking and listening. International students on student visas must study for 20 hours each week.
IELTS preparation classes may be held depending on demand. One to one tuition is also available.

| Insurance |
Medical and Travel Insurance: All international students are required to have
Medical and Travel Insurance. This applies to students coming to New Zealand on a Student Visa, Guardian Visa or Visitor's Permit. The
Academy can help you with this or you can make your own arrangements. Two insurance companies offer insurance policies suitable for international students: Southern Cross and Uni-Care Educational Travel Insurance Service . Note: Insurance cover is subject to acceptance by the insurance company and costs are subject to change.
Fill in this Enrolment form and submit. We will then send you a 'Letter of
Acceptance' and a fees invoice. Obtain an 'Approval in Principle' for your visa application from the New Zealand Immigration Service by
presenting the 'Letter of Acceptance'. Pay your fees by band telegraphic transfer to our bank:

When we receive the fees for your chosen course we
will send a receipt and an "Offer of a Place" form to both yourself
and your nearest New Zealand Immigration Service. The New Zealand
Immigration Service will send your Student Visa to you.
